อินเวอร์เตอร์ปั้มน้ำเป็นอินเวอร์เตอร์ที่ใช้ในการแปลงพลังงานแสงอาทิตย์จากแผงโซล่าเซลล์ให้เป็นพลังงานไฟฟ้าเพื่อขับเคลื่อนให้ปั้มน้ำทำงาน โดยมีหลักการทำงานคืออินเวอร์เตอร์จะทำการดึงเอาพลังงานแสงอาทิตย์หรือพลังงานงานจากแผงโซล่าเซลล์ซึ่งเป็นกระแสไฟฟ้า DC แล้วจากนั้นอินเวอร์เตอร์ก็จะทำการแปลงกระแสไฟฟ้า DC ให้เป็นกระแสไฟฟ้า AC แล้วอินเวอร์เตอร์ก็จะทำการจ่ายกระแสไฟฟ้าAC ไปยังปั้มน้ำเพื่อขับเคลื่อนให้ปั้มน้ำทำงาน
